with a keypad, or by external connections for such items
as vehicle parameters (oil pressure of coolant temperature
alarms, fluid levels, etc.), or any measurement that can
be quantified digitally. |

is the temporary combination of talkgroups, from a permitted
dispatch console, into one, large "super talkgroup". |

mobile or portable radio power on/off event is reported
to the DV/IP radio system. |

mobile or portable radio displays may be toggled between
the default "user" display, and optional "technician"

Interconnect |
While
the backbone system is full duplex, the current mobiles
and portables are capable of half-duplex telephone interconnect
operation if permitted. An interconnect board may be plugged
into the DB-1000 repeater. |
