Units
belonging to a group, but not powered or out of range,
or units which have made selection of a group with a transmission
already in progress, are automatically switched to the
transaction channel and joined with the group conversation

of a new group call to be included. |
| Local
and Remote Frame Error Reporting |
Available
in front panel selectable diagnostic (tech) mode. displays
number of frame errors received by repeater as well as
from repeater to receiving unit. A valuable troubleshooting
tool. |
| Multiple
Priority Levels |
Nine
priority levels can be assigned to individual units by
the SAS to assure that the most important messages can
preempt routine traffic, when necessary. Ruthless preemption
can be applied in certain instances. If a top priority
message is directed to target currently receiving another
group or individual message, the transmission can be terminated
and the target seized and reassigned to a transaction
channel with the priority originator. |
