Encryption 16 bit proprietary encryption is applied to each message during the digitization process. Up to 128 bit encryption is available using proprietary or standard encryption schemes as required.
First in, First out received messages Consoles and mobile units queue incoming messages from multiple monitored groups so that no message is lost. The last 10 messages are instantly available for review.
Full Digital Transmission All DV/IP transmissions are fully digital. All DV/IP "backhaul" transmissions are fully digital. No analog audio is present in the DV/IP system except at the microphones and loudspeakers.
Instant Replay Mobile and portable units can press one button to replay the last received message in the event of local noise disturbance, for instance.
Late Group Entry Units belonging to a group, but not powered or out of range, or units which have made selection of a group with a transmission already in progress, are automatically switched to the transaction channel and joined with the group conversation in progress, and so do not have to wait for initiation of a new group call to be included.
Local and Remote Frame Error Reporting Available in front panel selectable diagnostic (tech) mode. displays number of frame errors received by repeater as well as from repeater to receiving unit. A valuable troubleshooting tool.
Multiple Priority Levels Nine priority levels can be assigned to individual units by the SAS to assure that the most important messages can preempt routine traffic, when necessary. Ruthless preemption can be applied in certain instances. If a top priority message is directed to target currently receiving another group or individual message, the transmission can be terminated and the target seized and reassigned to a transaction channel with the priority originator.
